Cora is 11 months old!

My baby is 11 months old. Won't be but a blink of an eye that she will be a year. She is quite the Cora. She loves to snuggle yet, which has got to be why she still gets us up once a night (& sometimes 2x) yet to feed her-can't figure out why else an 11 month old would STILL be getting up in the night.  She still only has her 2 bottom teeth, but possibly working on more-getting into her mouth to check is like getting into Ft Knox.  Cora is crawling everywhere & loves to explore places she shouldn't. As shown in the pics, we put leg warmers on her when she has shorts on-her poor little knees get red & sore in no time.  She has also been standing up to furniture for awhile & thinks this is pretty neat! Don't know if we'll have a walker by her birthday though. Cora loves to laugh at/with her sister. Olivia can get her going pretty good & seems we have to watch Olivia more w/ her now than we did when Cora was an infant. Cora loves to grab her toys & Olivia doesn't quite like the idea of having to share her things now.  Cora loves her baby dolls-especially Baby Beans, which speaking of Olivia's toys-it is/was hers. She loves to hug & hold her pretty tight to her. I had asked Cora the other day where her baby was & she crawled across the floor, found Baby Beans, and brought her back to me, smiling the whole way. It was cute as ever :)

Olivia in the pics again-like I've said before-it's only on Cora's monthly ones that Olivia fights to be in the pictures!
And here, Olivia looks like she's up to no good! That's a guilty face if I've ever seen one!

Bella's softball

Today we drove over to Mitchell to watch a couple of Bella's softball games. She did real well & they were 2 for 3 that day. It was a hot day to be playing!

 Cora loves her ice pops!

Happy Father'sDay!!

Happy Father's Day to all those out there, and especially to a few special Dads-Pat, Dave, and Lee. Hope you day is a good relaxing one! We spent 3+ hot hours at the Pheasant's baseball game. The girls had a pretty good time and overall did real well considering how hot it was. Dan and Bella joined us & was a great day!

Olivia's first tooth fairy visit

Olivia had her first visit from the tooth fairy, but unfortunately not because she lost a tooth. She had to have one pulled :( Long story short, when we lived in Albuquerque, she hit her mouth on a ledge & from that deadened a tooth. We took her to the dentist a year ago b/c we thought it wasn't looking right but he told us that he would leave it & wait until it fell out on its own. But, over time it had cracked & didn't look so nice. I took her in & it was infected & nothing they could do to save it, so had it pulled. Poor thing. She had never complained about it. I don't know who the dentist visit was harder for-me or Olivia. I wasn't allowed to be with her in the room at all so sat in the waiting room for over an hour while she had her teeth cleaned, xrayed, & then the tooth pulled. Olivia came out to the waiting room w/ the dental assistant & looked as sad as she does in this picture. Broke my heart, but the dental assistant said she did a fantastic job & was exceptionally good. She even went to daycare after she had a fit that I was going to stay home with her & she wanted to go play with her friends. Glad she recovered fast :)

Olivia getting ready for the toothfairy to come. I wasn't exactly prepared for this so soon & didn't have her own special pillow for it. We ended up putting the tooth in its special treasure chest from the dentist on her dresser. She didn't want to go to sleep though. At 3 1/2 years old, she was a little confused I think, on the whole concept. I think it actually freaked her out that some fairy was going to come visit. She had quite a few tears that she wanted the tooth to go back into her mouth and just wouldn't believe me that another tooth would grow back. In the morning, she was excited to find the note from the tooth fairy where the tooth once was. It was even sprinkled with pink glitter. She was so excited! And under her pillow was $5!
