Catching up...

It's been awhile again since I've updated my blog, but I sort of have a legitimate excuse-I couldn't find my camera cord to upload my pictures. So, here's a variety of pics over the last couple weeks.
Olivia helping me decorate for fall. So hard to believe the season's fast approaching.
Grandma Froehlich came for a day visit on Saturday. We spent the day shopping and playing with Olivia. It was also Grandma's birthday on Tuesday-Happy Birthday!

Grandma Froehlich brought us this intertube swimsuit for Olivia that used to be Kaden's. Olivia didn't quite get it figured out! We did eventually have to hide it-it was becoming more of a hazard than a lifesaver.
Olivia and her new shoes from Grandma, and new pjs-quiet the fashion statement.
Saturday night we had our friends Mike, Kelly, and Noah over for a bonfire. Before we put the kids to bed, we dressed them up in Noah's Winnie the Pooh & Tiger costumes. They were all over-this is the best pic I could get of the 2 of them together.

Sioux Falls Parade of Homes

As noted before, my brother Justin and Dan had the feature home on the Parade of Homes in Sioux Falls. Olivia and I drove down for it Saturday & Sunday. We first went to the Sioux Falls Sidewalk Arts Festival with Grandma, and then went to tour the beautiful home. They did an awesome job-lots of hard work and many hours paid off. Photos of the inside of the house can be seen on Justin's website, http://www.driscollconstruction.com/
Justin and Dan With Olivia's shoe fetish, doesn't surprise me that she loved playing in the box of disposable slippers.

Happy 40th Anniversary Lee and Kathee!

This past weekend we celebrated Lee & Kathee's 40th Wedding Anniversary in Algona. First we all went to church together and then had a nice party/dinner downtown afterwards. It was great to see so many relatives and friends come to celebrate their Anniversary. We finished the night off with a bonfire and lots of laughs!

Before the festivities began, everybody got into their Iowa gear to watch the first game of the season. Olivia is just cute as can be in her new Iowa jersey passed down from Jason & Jack.

Parade of Homes

As most of you know, my brother Justin owns his construction business, Driscoll Construction, and my youngest brother, Dan has been working for his business for years. Justin has had many homes that they have done the finish work in the Sioux Falls Parade of Homes, but this is the first year that Justin has been a General Contractor for a Parade home, and on top of that, was selected as the premier home on the parade. The first weekend will be Sept 11th, 2010. Congratulations to both Justin and Dan on your hard work & success!! They were recognized in yesterday & today's Argus Leader and also on the Home Builder's Association Website.
