Last weekend events

Last weekend we went to Mpls for our nephew, Jason's 1st Communion. They held it Saturday morning, so Pat and I missed it (Pat works Sat mornings), but were there for the reception/kegger ;) at the house afterwards. Olivia got to spend some fun time with her cousins. The rain held off for the most part so that was good-the kids were able to play outside most of the day. And it was good for us adults too. Congratulations Jason-God Bless you!

And on the Driscoll side of the family, they celebrated my nephew Ryan's 1st Birthday. Hard to believe he is 1 already. My niece Anna also had her dance recital she's been practicing for. I'll have to get the video-I heard she did a fantastic job and was quite the little dancer.

Look who was busy with her crayons while Mommy was putting away groceries!

Need I say more....accept that it was Daddy that got them out for her last night. :)

The Great Outdoors Part Deux

Today Olivia and I enjoyed the day again outside. We spent 2 hours this morning at the park, which wore her out for a 4 hour nap this afternoon. We went on an hour walk afterwards and then played in the yard until Pat got home and then kept it going. Tonight when it was time for her to go to bed, we asked her several times "do you want to go ni-nite?" and she instantly replied "yeah". There was no fighting it!

The Great Outdoors

We have been playing alot outside now that it's finally nice. It was so hard back in Albuquerque when all we had was a rock yard (and 100 degree weather). So we're loving the nice green grass and playing hard. I'm starting to see how easily the laundry gets stacked up with grass stains on the little knees of anything Olivia wears. But I wouldn't change it for anything and am always excited for the next time.

Olivia is on her swing set from last year. She's outgrown it alot, but still loves monkeying around on it. We debated on even setting it up, but glad we did now.

Olivia and Dad on the hammock. She loved it at first and now tries to push us out of it and has a fit if one of us lies in it. I guess there's no resting on Olivia time.

Happy Easter! Happy 4th Birthday Ethan! Happy Spring Days!!

Again, it's been awhile since I've uploaded any pictures. My camera is still on the outs-it had gotten dropped and the lens is not allowing me to take any close up pictures. So if anybody knows of anyone wanting to sell a Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS lens, let me know! These pics are of my mom's.
Last weekend we went to Mitchell, SD to celebrate my nephew Ethan's 4th Birthday & to celebrate Easter with my family. This was my first birthday party I've been able to attend, so of course enjoyed it, besides chasing Olivia all around, trying to keep her off the lanes!
We had a nice Easter as well-the weather was perfect and we got to spend alot of the weekend outdoors and at the park. My whole family was there and it had been a few years since I've gotten to spend an Easter with everybody. It was fun seeing the kids after the Easter Bunny came and surprised them with baskets filled with toys and candy.

Olivia found her Easter basket!!

Olivia and cousins Anna and Bella in their pretty dresses

Olivia in her hat I made for her 1st Easter dress she had on (Pat took her out of church after 5 minutes for being fussy & 20 min later she was throwing up all over herself & inside of Heath's van. Not sure what was wrong, but she bounced back & running around like nothing ever happened)

My Dad with all his boys & favorite son-in-law.

My Mom with all the girls.

Grandma and Grandpa with all 5 of the Grandkids at the park.

Pat, Grandma, and I with all the kids.

Olivia LOVED the slides! Hard to believe she's already going down them by herself.

Crazy Bella going down upside down.

After watching Bella, Olivia had to go down on her stomach too. Monkey see, Monkey do.

On the slide again.
