I'm crawling!!

I am now crawling!! I crawled a couple steps yesterday and today I have a lot more. First was when mom had a jar of baby food. She tricked me! The only way to get the food was to crawl to it. And of course I love the dog's toy bone more than anything (as shown in the video) so I crawl to that too. (mom and dad don't let me play with it but I'm always trying). I guess time for things to start going up now.

Kenny Chesney Concert

Last Thursday Pat and I went to see Kenny Chesney in concert here in Albuquerque. He was awesome!! We were lucky enough to have a good connection and got 14th row tickets. Lady Antebellum (who was awesome and put on a great show-I'd go see them again) and Miranda Lambert (who I wouldn't go to again if it were even free) opened for him. Kenny performed for about 2 hours and was non-stop. I can see why has gotten Entertainer of the Year so many times. It was by far one of the best concerts we've been too.

Daycare

Here are some pictures of me at daycare. It's going really great!! I am having a blast. The first day was a little hard for mommy but she's doing well with it now. I think she is enjoying being able to get things done (but still misses me of course). I am now going 4 mornings instead of 3, and mom and I are at home on Wednesdays all day. The two kids' names are Jonas (JoJo) and Emilee. They are 15 and 18 months. Jonas's brother, Lucas, is 6 but he is in school all day. My second day there I was leading the group with raspberries/spitting. Once I started it, the 2 others followed suit. Stacy said it was really cute!

Ojito Wilderness

The Ojito Wilderness-we went to go hiking with the Kline's but because of the wind we didn't stay too long. But, it was a fun drive with beautiful scenery.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

My friend Katie has a police car that I got to sit in and play with the walkie talkie. Mom sure got a kick out of it! Maybe someday I can pull over Grandma Driscoll in it too! ;)

My First Easter

I had a wonderful first Easter. I (we) really missed our family and friends back home for the holiday, but Dad and Mom made it special. We first went to church. Good thing Dad made us leave early (we were there at 9:01 for the 10:00 service!) because it was standing room only by 9:30. I did my usual people staring-I love to watch the people behind us. I can get away with it now, but probably not when I'm a little older. After church we went home and I got an Easter basket full of goodies!! I was having so much fun looking at all the new things and playing with the Easter grass that I wouldn't look up at the camera (as you can see by the pictures). Then we had our friends Mike, Val, and Katie over for dinner and I had a great time playing with Katie.

The Easter Bunny and I

Happy Easter to all my family and friends!! Mom and Dad took me to the Easter Bunny last weekend at the mall. I did ok with the big bunny for just a little bit. I'm glad this picture was taken when it was, because about 2 seconds later I was screaming. I think I was so afraid of his size. But at least I made it to his lap-the 3 year old girl ahead of me took one look at him and ran right back to her stroller. I am looking forward to going to church tomorrow. Dad says we have to be in the church an hour early to get a spot. Good thing Mom isn't in charge because we'd probably be late and standing in the back. Afterwards we are having our friends Mike, Val, and Katie over for dinner. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Last (kind of) day at the office

Today is Friday, and it is kind of my last day at the office. As you can tell, I'm a little sad. Starting Monday I am going to daycare, but only for 3 half-days. I will probably still go to the office a little bit. Even though I'm the best baby in the world and Mom and Dad LOVE having me there, I'm starting to be a little more mobile and kind of a handful, making it hard to get things done. But Mom and Dad really like the place I'm going to and really like Stacy, the daycare provider. We went to visit last Monday and I think I will really like it too. Stacy has two boys of her own-Lucas (6) and Jonas (15 months), and another little girl-Emilee (18 months). It will be fun to be around little kids close to my age. I'll let you know Monday how I do-and Mom too. I think she's having kind of a hard time with it, but also knows that I'm at a fun place and will be well taken care of.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Driscoll!!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Driscoll for the Easter goodies-the cards, books, socks, and the cute fuzzy-talking-ear flapping Easter Bunny!! I opened it today all by myself! The bunny scared me a little at first, but I really like it now. I think maybe it brought back some memories from that big Easter Bunny mom and dad brought me to in the mall on Saturday. And I love the books-I'm always playing with those. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Stare down with the Easter Bunny (& he won).

I'm 8 months old today!

Well-another month has flown by. I am 8 months old!! I have gone through alot more changes again. Last Sunday, Dad noticed that I was cutting my first tooth! Just Friday they could see it for the first time. Tonight in church Mom put her thumb in my mouth to feel it and I bit down hard on it. I bet she won't be doing that again. But, I guess that explains all the blow out/full diapers I've been having (4 yesterday!) Just when they think they've cleaned up the last one for the day-I do it again! I can't crawl yet but I am so close. I can get in the crawling position but just fall forward. One of these days I will get it figured out and then look out world! I can already roll anywhere I want to go-even under the entertainment center. My language is still pretty minimal. Da-da-da-da is my favorite thing to say. Today I just started saying na-na-na-na and making popping noises with my mouth. I really love the sound of my voice though. Mom and I are still working at the office quite a bit with Dad. It has been great because I love to be around people and am not shy with anyone. I've also started giving kisses to Mom and Dad, and my baby doll. They may be a little sloppy, but they are full of love.

Playing at the office

Just a couple videos of me playing at the office today. I am keeping mom busier than ever!
