Dan, Justin, and Jessica Visit

Despite their busy work, Dan, Justin, and Jessica came to visit for 6 days. They had never been to this part of the country, so it was fun showing them life in the desert. We did many of the things as when mom & dad were here, but because the weather was nicer we were able to do alot more hiking. The top picture is on the tram going up the Sandia Mts. Once we got there, we hiked the rest of the way to the top of the Mt, and then back to the tram. It took us 3 hours round trip. The top picture is Dan and Pat at Kiwanis Cabin, a stone cabin built years ago for stranded hikers.
Pat and I taking a break-it was much needed for me!

Hiking to the waterfalls in the Jemez Mts.

Jessica & I at the top of a rock while the guys are hiking around.
Dan hiking down from ontop of a waterfall. I don't think he was able to make it much further than shown. It was pretty steep!
The five of us having a delicious lunch in Santa Fe at Coyote Cafe.
Back at the Miraculous Staircase in Santa Fe-Justin is determined that he is going to figure out how it was built with no nails. He bought 2 videos, and many brochures/booklets. He claims he's got it figured out, but waiting to reveal the mystery.
Justin and Dan both rented Harleys on the last day they were here. Because they had a late flight out, they were able to get in about 6 hours of riding through the mountains. Jessica rode with Justin, but because of my preggo belly, I wasn't able to ride with Dan. They also rode through Madrid (where Wild Hogs was filmed), while Jessica filmed them coming into town & pulling up to Maggies Cafe. The video was neat-however not as intimidating as the Del Fuegos!
