Yesterday I took the girls to the Butterfly House to spend our last day together before daycare started. I started a new job today at National American University as an Admissions Advisor. I think it's going to be a great job-so far all the people have been wonderful & seems like a great place to work. I also started attending classes there last week to get my Accounting degree-yes, I finally decided to do it. I applied for school there last April but with having a baby & moving, I put it off until the timing was right. It's going to be extremely busy (& difficult) adjusting, but am very excited for what's ahead. The girls, namely Olivia, loved daycare. It was a little hard dropping them off-it's been a great 2 1/2 months bonding with them, but knew this day was only a matter of time. There are alot of girls & I think Olivia made alot of new friends. There were no tears all day-not even Mom-ok maybe just a little-but it was overall a good experience for all. But back to the butterfly house-this is Olivia's 2nd trip here. Pat had taken her the 1st time, and she was scared to death of the butterflies. She convinced me that she wouldn't be yesterday, but the picture you see of her by the "Enter" door is the farthest we got to them. And that was after we had a little mini melt down that she was not going to go in b/c she was afraid. So, we looked at the fish, read books, and played with the toys there. Probably could have done the same thing at a library for free, but who knew my brave wild child would be afraid of a butterfly?
