Olivia is 3 weeks old here. I know most of the latest pictures show her either in her bouncer, swing, or floor mat, but don't let this fool you-she doesn't like to be put down much. She has about a 10 to 15 minute attention span being left alone, and then wants to be held. Her hair in the pictures is usually how it looks-we try and comb it down, but it does what it wants! How cute though! She is doing much better with her days and nights but still doesn't always like to sleep in her pack-n-play that's next to our bed-so we give in & she snuggles with us. Not a good habit to get into, I know, but sometimes it's just easier!

I love her hair. Daniel's hair was just like that and I just left it fluffy! Very cute.
We came home from the hospital with Matthew with only one rule...our kids will never sleep in our bed. Well...that lasted until his first night home. Matthew slept with us until he was about 6 or 7 weeks old. Amelia was a bit of a different story. She slept with us until she was about 7 months old. They both eventually left our bed and never returned. There are certainly worse things that getting several hours of sleep in a row with a new born in your bed. If she were 6, it would be a different story.
Congratulations again. Olivia is beautiful.
Awwwww.... I really wish i could come visit.
Sleeping arrangements... Um, don't get me started... Ruby pretty much slept with us in our bed from day one. She slept SO well that way... (We didn't). We'd either have to put her down in our bed and move her to her own bed or some combination. Now she easily goes to bed in her own room, in her own big-girl twin bed, and by 4 or 5 AM she somehow ends up in ours.
I hope by 10 years old I'm not waking up looking at that face next to mine. Don't get me wrong, cuddling a toddler is the best, but I'd like my bed back (and the two little feet out of the small of my back!!)
Good luck.
