Happy 6 months Cora!
My baby is 6 months old today, and sadly I don't have a picture to post because I haven't seen her in almost a week and a half :( I can't imagine how much she's changed in such little time. I have been in Kansas City for training for my job and because I wasn't able to drive home last weekend due to snow, I won't see my family until this Friday. I'm having a pity party in my room right now. Two weeks is just too long. Pat has been quite the trooper being Mr Mom during this time. The girls are lucky to have such a good daddy. I did however tell him that he had to dress Cora in the cutest outfit & take a ton of pics today for her 6 months. He said "Really? Nobody but you will know the difference if it waits until you get home. Well, except for your mom." Very true. But tonight I asked him if he took any pics today or tonight & he asks, "of what?". Looks like I'll be taking pics when I get home :)
Miss you all very much!
-I will get this updated soon with those pics-but don't count on it over the weekend-I will be busy snuggling :)

Hanging out with the girls

Yesterday I took the girls to the Butterfly House to spend our last day together before daycare started. I started a new job today at National American University as an Admissions Advisor. I think it's going to be a great job-so far all the people have been wonderful & seems like a great place to work. I also started attending classes there last week to get my Accounting degree-yes, I finally decided to do it. I applied for school there last April but with having a baby & moving, I put it off until the timing was right. It's going to be extremely busy (& difficult) adjusting, but am very excited for what's ahead. The girls, namely Olivia, loved daycare. It was a little hard dropping them off-it's been a great 2 1/2 months bonding with them, but knew this day was only a matter of time. There are alot of girls & I think Olivia made alot of new friends. There were no tears all day-not even Mom-ok maybe just a little-but it was overall a good experience for all. But back to the butterfly house
-this is Olivia's 2nd trip here. Pat had taken her the 1st time, and she was scared to death of the butterflies. She convinced me that she wouldn't be yesterday, but the picture you see of her by the "Enter" door is the farthest we got to them. And that was after we had a little mini melt down that she was not going to go in b/c she was afraid. So, we looked at the fish, read books, and played with the toys there. Probably could have done the same thing at a library for free, but who knew my brave wild child would be afraid of a butterfly?

Who You Gonna Call?
Olivia, with flashlight and her yo-yo in hand, was heading to the basement to look for monsters. When she came back up, I asked her if she found any and she said -"yes, but I scared them all away". I asked her what they looked like, she said, "Oh, they were pink and some were purple. They had polka dots, and some had stwipes." Can you guess what her favorite colors are?

Now there's one intimidating monster hunter!

Bella's 10th Birthday
Bella's 10th Birthday at the rollerskating rink-hard to believe she is in the double digits!! Happy Birthday!

Cora rolled over!!
Cora rolled over for the first time today! She's really been trying lately and finally made it. She was on her mat while I was in doing dishes when I heard her fussing. I came out and found her rolled over on her tummy-she didn't know what to do once she rolled on her stomach but she didn't like it. She rolled over 2 more times, and I videod one of them on my phone. Pat was at a deal for work and missed it all. She of course hasn't done it since so he hasn't seen it-glad I have her videod to show she really can do it!
